Some floppies that work flawlessly some days give errors on others. ![]() That said these appear to happen a lot more frequently on some adf images transferred to floppy such as A-Train but other adfs do not suffer from the same floppy. The disks sometimes work but sometimes give "You MUST insert disk XXX id df0" or "Not a DOS Disk" kind of errors. The read errors are frequent but not reliably reproducable. ![]() I have no way of sourcing DD floppies and Im really leaning towards having a floppy switcher installed. I am going to discard these disks unless this is normal. Even formatting HD floppies gives multiple 8 errors on disks on verification some of which are autocorrected by XCopy 7.3 but some require several retries.
